PROCESS
Design
Phase 100
The design process begins with a consultation to clarify a client's needs and aspirations for their project. A proposal with estimated design hours will be provided following this meeting. Next, CHI conducts a thorough analysis of the space, taking measurements and documenting the existing layout, architectural features, and any limitations. This information is used to create a detailed floor plan.

Phase 200
Based on the client's preferences and the analysis, CHI develops a preliminary design and presents it to the client.
At this initial design presentation, a client will receive the following:
-
Layout option
-
3-D rendering
-
Preliminary selection of materials and finishes.

If needed, post-meeting revisions will occur to ensure the design is approved.

Phase 300
Once the preliminary design is approved, CHI will develop the design which involves finalizing floor plans, lighting and electrical plans, creating elevations, detailed drawings, and fixture schedules. This phase is also where all material, finish, and furniture sourcing is finalized.

Implementation
Phase 400
When implementing a project, CHI is receptive to working with the contractor of your choice or able to make recommendations in finding who best meets your project needs. Scope of work documents and drawings are finalized in preparation for contractor bids.
Phase 500
During construction, CHI works closely with contractors, artisans, and other professionals to ensure the design plan is executed accurately. Drawing revisions, installation support, and site visits are ways CHI assists in the construction phase.
Phase 600
From start to finish, CHI collaborates closely with the client, providing regular updates and seeking input to guarantee that the end result exceeds the client’s expectations. A final walkthrough ensures the client has the space they need, want, and have dreamt about.
