Carrie Hummel has a natural affinity for creating spaces with style and structure. She honed her talents studying at Iowa State University where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the College of Design. After college, she worked in a commercial design setting for Griswold, Heckel & Kelly Associates in Chicago, Illinois, and, later, Shive-Hattery in Moline, Illinois. Prior to starting Carrie Hummel Interiors in 2020, Carrie spent more than 10 years assisting friends and family with redesigning and organizing their homes. Since starting her business, Carrie has had the opportunity to work on over 100 different projects.  From kitchens to whole home remodels, and commercial spaces, Carrie believes your space matters! 

 

When not in her office working on a client's project, Carrie is likely to be found swimming, biking, or running while contemplating her current project! Carrie loves participating in triathlons but not as much as being mom to Emily, Luke, & Nathan and wife to Glen.
